A WOMAN has died outside Leatherhead railway station after reportedly falling and hitting her head.
Paramedics were called to a bus in Station Approach just after 4pm, with reports claiming the 60-year-old woman had suffered a head injury and died.
Andy Dunn, of Bookham, said he arrived at the scene shortly after the accident.
He added: "In a flash there were ambulances and police cars everywhere. The quickly cordoned off the whole road and no-one could get up or down the road.
"The rumours among the crowd that gathered was that a middle-aged woman had been involved in a pretty serious accident.
