THE DRIVER of a car who died last week has been named by police as Ryan Boyle, from Northern Ireland.
A police chase resulted in a road collision in Felcourt Road, Lingfield, on Thursday, February 21.
An inquest was opened and adjourned on Wednesday, February 27, following the death of the 19-year-old from Londonderry.
The driver of one of the other vehicles involved in the collision remains at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton where he is described as being in a serious but stable condition. Four other people were treated for minor injuries, including onewoman who also attended the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
An investigation is ongoing and anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Surrey Police on 101, quoting Operation Apatite.
