A 50-year-old man from the Redhill area died in a crash in Bletchingley on February 27, said police.
His van smashed into a wall after apparently veering off the A25 Castle Street, in Bletchingley, into a lay-by.
Three bouquets of flowers have since been left at the scene.
One read: "Up in heaven with the angels.
"Look after this great man. He is the best husband, dad and friend."
