The group reviewing healthcare services at Epsom Hospital is holding a drop-in session for Surrey residents tomorrow night.
Doctors, nurses and representatives from the Better Services, Better Value review are holding the session for residents, patients, carers and voluntary organisations at Bourne Hall on Spring Street in Ewell on Wednesday March 20 from 6pm to 8.30 pm.
The aim of tomorrow's event is for local people to find out more about the BSBV proposals before a formal three-month public consultation takes place.
Light refreshments will be provided, parking is available and the building is fully accessible.
BSBV is a review of local healthcare services across Epsom and surrounding areas and South West London.
The recommendations of the review could see Epsom Hospital downgraded, meaning it could stand to lose its A&E and maternity units.
Dr Simon Williams, a Surrey GP who is part of BSBV's clinical leadership, said: "This review is all about delivering higher standards of care and making local services sustainable. This is a chance for local people to come and hear about the case for change and talk to the doctors who are running the review about the proposals.
"It is also an opportunity for people to ask their questions and voice any concerns they may have so we can consider these ahead of the public consultation later in the spring."

At the event there will be table discussions on the following topics:

  • Emergency and Urgent Care (including A&E)
  • Planned Care
  • Maternity and Children's Services
  • Out of Hospital Care/Long Term Conditions/End of Life Care
  • Travel and Transport
