GYMNASTS from Leatherhead & Dorking Gymnastics Club have continued the outstanding results from last year by dominating the recent British Gymnastics South East Regional Grades Championships at The Guildford Spectrum.
In winning ten medals overall – five gold, three silver and two bronze - plus the Disley Shield for the leading regional club - the club's level of excellence in performance is being maintained.
And Margaret Miler, who is co-director of the club , said that she was extremely proud of its gymnasts.
"They are absolutely amazing," she said.
"This is one of the two big competitions in the year and it was just fantastic to see them do so well.
"The gymnasts put in a lot of hard work and they are very dedicated."
The successful gymnasts were Amber Stevens, Charlie Lloyd, Gemma Everson, Isobel Ostling, Charlotte Lacourie, Chloe Hallsworth, Phoebe Bragg, Lola Inglethorpe and Laura Jennings.
The gymnasts will now prepare for the British finals at the end of April.
The club's facility is a British Gymnastics designated High Performance Centre providing training for pre-school, recreational and elite gymnasts.
