FOUR goals from James Taylor helped Dorkinians U15s to a commanding 9-2 win over Royal United on a snowy Priory School pitch.
Dorkinians started brightly, with Taylor hitting the United bar, Tom Killner firing narrowly wide and the visiting keeper saving well.
Home keeper John Wilson then pulled off a fine save from close range, but he could not prevent a United striker netting the rebound.
Undeterred, Dorkinians attacked from the restart, with a pass from Will Whittles setting up Taylor for the equaliser.
The home side went into the lead moments later, when a fine through-ball from Taylor-Jones sent Killner clear to finish calmly from the edge of the penalty box.
Taylor extended the lead after an incisive one-two between Harry Margetts and George Harrison opened up the United defence.
Taylor made it 4-1 early on in the second half, after fine work by Killner, and moments later, Brown scored the fifth after the United defence failed to clear their lines. Against the run of play, a rare United attack ended with them netting a second goal.
Taylor-Jones then met a superb Taylor corner with a close-range header, before Taylor netted his fourth goal with the strike of the game, bending a shot around the covering defender.
With the United players tiring, Taylor-Jones weaved into the penalty box to score the eighth before the hard-working Whittles volleyed in from the edge of the box to complete the scoring.
