Olympic champion Sir Chris Hoy spent this morning cycling up Box Hill.
The visit was part of a photo shoot, and the Scot took to social media site Twitter to apologise to the district's cyclists for "getting in the way".
Speaking to his 481,000 followers, he said: "Photo shoot on and around Box Hill this morning, so many other folk on bikes, apologies for getting in the way!"
The National Trust site received worldwide attention last year as the venue of the Olympic road races during London 2012.
The hill has enjoyed an increased level is cycling activity since the world's best athletes competed there last July.
