FARNHAM residents will have the opportunity to quiz the six Surrey Police and Crime Commissioner candidates.
Churches Together in Farnham have arranged a PCC Election Hustings at St Joan's Centre, Tilford Road, Farnham, on Monday, November 12 at 7.30pm.
The six candidates have accepted the invitation to answer questions from the public.
The six candidates are:
- Robert Evans (Labour Party)
- Kevin Hurley (Zero Tolerance Policing ex Chief)
- Julie Iles (Conservative Party)
- Nick O'Shea (Liberal Democrat)
- Robert Shatwell (UKIP)
- Peter Williams (Independent)
Electors will choose the new Police Commissioner for Surrey on Thursday, November 15.
The elected Police Commissioner will be able to set the force budget and precept, appoint and dismiss the chief constable and hold them to account.
