Police are holding a vehicle crime roadshow at a Halfords store in Epsom tomorrow.
Staff and police will show people how to prevent their car from becoming a victim of vehicle crime.
Epsom and Ewell Crime Prevention Advisor Fru Toth, said: "I would encourage any vehicle owner in the Epsom and Ewell area to attend this event and learn how to protect their cars or vans from offenders.
"Everyday vehicles are targeted for a variety of different reasons by offenders which can cause significant inconvenience to their owners if their vehicle's details are used in other crime and I would urge all owners to take the necessary measures to prevent this from happening.
"I would like to thank the staff and management of Halfords in Epsom for all their hard work in helping us with this event and I hope working together will help reduce vehicle crime in the area."
The event will be taking place tomorrow between 12pm and 4pm at the Halfords store on Kiln Lane, Epsom.
