A LATE strike from Lee Radford gave Redhill's promotion push a vital boost as they came from behind to beat Horsham YMCA 2-1 this afternoon (Saturday).
The Reds fell behind in the first minute at Kiln Brow when Brad Curtis gave the visitors a surprise lead, but Chris Gregson equalised for Mike Maher's men on 32 minutes.
It still looked like the hosts would have to settle for a point though as the game wore on, but Radford popped up in the closing stages with a vital strike to seal all three points and keep the Reds in second place in the Sussex County League Division One table.
Elsewhere in the same division, Lingfield were held at home 1-1 by Hassocks, with Gareth Graham's long range strike cancelled out by James Westlake's second half effort.
Dorking Wanderers also picked up a decent point with a 0-0 draw away to Rye United in a match that was played at Ringmer's Caburn Ground.
In the Combined Counties League Premier Division, South Park defeated local rivals Dorking 1-0 to dent the visitors' survival hopes, while Horley Town picked up a valuable three points in a 2-1 win at Badshot Lea.
In the Kent Premier League, Whyteleafe were held at home by Woodstock Sports, after the visitors came back from 2-0 down to claim a 2-2 draw.
Meanwhile, Merstham rounded off their Ryman League Division One South campaign with a 1-0 win at home to Walton Casuals, who were relegated as a result.
The result saw the Moatsiders end the campaign in 12th place on 56 points.
Elsewhere, Chipstead finished their season with a 1-1 draw at Corinthian-Casuals, which sees them finish 20th in the division on 42 points.
