ST PAUL'S Panthers U16s signed off in style with a one-two in the Panthers six-a-side youth football tournament.

It went down to the wire with the two Panthers teams and Maidenbower able to win the tournament as they went into their final matches.

But with both Panthers teams winning 1-0 and Maidenbower being held to a draw it was the Panthers that took both the winners and runners-up honours.

This was the perfect result as the tournament drew to a close, following ten years as a team.

Many of the boys have played together since U7s.

With the Horsham & District League finishing at U16s it was the last time the boys would pull on a Panthers shirt with time to reflect on ten years of football together.

The team has been successful with promotions, league and tournament honours and many happy memories.

Panthers: Ben Child, Eddie Elster, Joe Goswell, Tom Graham, Rob Howlett, Sam Lloyd, Jordan Martin, Sam McCormick, Christian Parsons, Andre Spahn, Joe Silver, Louis Sprange, Ben Stowell - and manager Steve Howlett.
