THREE people were taken to hospital following a pile-up on the M25 last night.
Surrey Police has appealed for witnesses to the crash, which happened at around 10.45pm between junctions 9 (Leatherhead) and 8 (Reigate).
Three fire engines were scrambled to the scene along with paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service, who took three injured people to hospital.
The vehicles involved included a blue BMW, a red Mercedes, a white Audi and a black Corsa.
The carriageway was closed while crews dealt with the scene.
The road was cleared at around midnight.
