A SINGER who grew up in Bookham will perform in front of thousands of football fans at Wembley Stadium today.

Natalie Coyle, 25, will sing the national anthem at the home of football for the Championship play-off final.

It will be her second time at Wembley, having sung the national anthem to 50,000 people at the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final.

She said: "I am so honoured and excited that the Football League has asked me to sing.

"I can't wait for the opportunity to return to that iconic venue."

The former St Theresa's School pupil is also gearing up to perform at Epsom Playhouse on May 30. Miss Coyle, who has sung with the likes of Susan Boyle and Katherine Jenkins, is currently touring the country with Classic BRIT Award winners Blake.

Tickets are still available to see Miss Coyle and Blake at the Epsom Playhouse on Thursday, May 30. Call the box office on 01372 742555.
