This Saturday, June 1, from 11am to 2pm, All Saints' Church, will be holding their Summer Fayre in the Crossways Gardens, opposite the church, in Battlebridge Lane, South Merstham. Admission to the event will be 50p per person.
Attractions on the day will include games, competitions, a cake bake-off, barbecue, tombola, auction, and especially for the young, and maybe, young at heart, a bouncy castle. Refreshments will be available, both at the main venue, and in Canada Hall, and tickets for the grand raffle will be obtainable for the duration of the event. To allow patrons safe access across the busy Battlebridge Lane, the organisers have had the foresight to employ their own especially recruited "lollipop brigade", for one day only.
Merstham Councillors, together with newly elected Surrey County Councillor, Bob Gardner, have taken the opportunity to hit the road with their monthly surgery by taking a stall at The Fayre, and would like as many local residents as possible to pay them a visit.
