A BIKER has been taken to hospital after being found lying injured on a Dorking road by a member of the public.
The rider was spotted at around 4pm on Saturday (June 1) on the A24 Deepdene Avenue.
Surrey Police closed the road while emergency services including the air ambulance attended the scene. The road closure was lifted at around 7pm.
The motorcyclist was taken to St George's Hospital in Tooting with what were described as non life-threatening injuries.
A police spokesman said it was believed that no other vehicle or person was involved in the incident.
