RADIO star Christian O'Connell is one of the stars warming up for this year's Edinburgh Festival with a show in Redhill.
Get a glimpse of the shows which will light up the stage in Scotland when the annual Burbs to the Burgh show comes to the Harlequin later this month.
The show, from the Comedy Cottage, will feature Absolute Radio breakfast DJ Christian with his first solo Edinburgh show This is 13.
Battling Darth Vader and dating an 80s hearthrob are on the menu as the eight-time Sony Award winning DJ takes the audience along on his quest to complete a list of dream activities which he compiled as a 13-year-old.
The show, which Christian admits is not for the family friendly audience he broadcasts to on a daily basis, was described as "smart and funny" by The Office creator Ricky Gervais.
Joining Christian on the bill for the show on July 26 is comedian Brendon Burns.
Far from making his first appearance at the festival, Brendon is an Edinburgh comedy award-winner but still manages to stay below the radar.
This is one of the topics covered in his show along with how he deals with being diagnosed as partially deaf - the show contains materiel which some may find offensive.
Comedy Cottage mainstay Sajeela Kershi will MC the event with Peter Dennis providing music.
