SIX people, including a pregnant woman, had to rescued by firefighters after being trapped in a lift.
The incident happened at about 11.40am today in the Warwick Quadrant, outside The Harlequin Theatre in Redhill.
Rick Hollingshead, a watch manager at Reigate fire station, said: "We used special keys that we carry to release them.
"They had been stuck in there for about half an hour.
"All six of them, including the heavily pregnant woman, were hot and bothered but I wouldn't say they were distressed."
