THREE trains were cancelled and several others delayed after a deer was hit near Woldingham station this morning.
The animal strayed onto the line and was struck by the 6.14am train from East Grinstead to London Bridge.
The train continued to East Croydon after the accident but was then taken out of service for cleaning and because some damage had been caused to it.
The 7.19am from London bridge back to East Grinstead and the 8.17am from East Grinstead to London Bridge were both cancelled as a result.
