AFTER a triumphant first year of screenings, Lingfield's monthly film club has announced its new season line-up.
The autumn season for Flix in the Stix starts with the star-studded musical Les Misérables on September 8.
All the films are shown at Lingfield and Dormansland Community Centre, off the High Street and tickets cost £5. This year the film club is being supported by estate agents Robert Leech & Partners.
"We are thrilled that Flix in the Stix has been so popular," said organising team member Paul Pirie.
"We have carefully chosen this season of films from a huge list. Some are blockbusters, some are classics and some are just quirky. In fact, there is something for everyone."
Tickets can be bought from the community centre or Robert Leech & Partners, also in the High Street.
Richard Goman, associate partner at the estate agent, said: "Flix in the Stix has established itself in Lingfield as an essential community programme in such a short space of time. We hope our backing for the 2013-14 season will allow the club to increase its support by encouraging more locals to catch what looks like a fantastic line up of movies. It's such a great excuse to get out in the darker evenings and make new friends."
