A TEENAGER has been arrested after an 18-year-old woman was robbed of iPhone 5 in Redhill.
At around 9.45am last Monday (August 26) as the girl walked along Upper Bridge Road she was approached by a man who pushed her into a fence before stealing her phone.
The victim was left shaken by the ordeal but was not injured and contacted officers immediately.
Police quickly attended the scene and carried out a thorough search of the area assisted by the dog unit.
A short time later a 17-year-old man was arrested in connection with the robbery.
The 17-year-old man, from Horley, was charged with robbery and appeared at Redhill Magistrates Court on August 28 where he was remanded to appear at Guildford Crown Court on September 13.
