There are severe delays of an hour on the M25 tonight following a vehicle fire and oil spillage.
Two lanes have been closed anti-clockwise, between junction 9 for Leatherhead and junction 8 for Reigate.
The average speed on this section of the motorway is 13mph and the congestion is until junction 10 for the A3.
The Highways Agency expect traffic to return to normal by 8pm tonight (Tuesday, September 3).
There is also heavy traffic on the M25 clockwise between junction 8 for Reigate and junction 9 for Leatherhead.
