A MAN and a woman have been charged following an assault in Leatherhead.
Three men suffered minor facial injuries after being approached by a man and a woman and assaulted on the High Street at about 11pm on Tuesday September 10.
Officers quickly attended the scene and two people were arrested on suspicion of affray.
Stuart Le Brun, 23, of no fixed address and Kaylea Wheeler, 24, of Overlord Court in Fetcham have now been charged in connection with this incident and are due to appear at South East Surrey Magistrates Court on Tuesday October 1.
A number of potential witnesses have already been spoken to by officers but anyone else who saw any part of this incident is urged to contact Surrey Police on 101 quoting reference MV/13/3561 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
