Staff at Dorking Halls are appealing for votes in their campaign to be named "most welcoming charity" at the UK Theatre Awards.
Voting on the awards scheme's website closes on September 30, when the most popular entries will go forward to be scrutinised by a panel of judges.
The winning theatre will receive their award at a ceremony at London's Guildhall on October 20.
Dorking Halls general manager Keith Garrow said: "160,000 visitors visit Dorking Halls each year to watch a wide range of live shows, cinema screenings, top name comedians and other events, so customer service is at the heart of everything we do.
"We respond personally to any comments or suggestions and are continually reviewing our systems to make sure we are giving our customers what they want.
"Dorking Halls continues to receive fantastic support from the community and we hope that our customers will show their support by voting for us in this competition."
