TOP decision-makers at Reigate and Banstead Borough Council have agreed to put up council tax from April.
The authority's executive met last night (Thursday) to agree the draft budget for the next financial year.
It includes cuts in spending totalling £1.7million, plus some areas of budget growth and losses in income, totalling £566,000, and a two per cent hike in the council's share of council tax - the maximum rise the council can introduce without holding a costly referendum.
