Crispin Blunt critic resigns in bitter row over Reigate MP's re-selection

THE row over Crispin Blunt's reselection as Reigate MP has led to one long-serving top Tory resigning her post. Priscilla Rhodes, a critic of Mr Blunt's, says she is "disgusted" at being barred from a meeting at which former foreign and defence secretary Sir Malcolm Rifkind addressed members of the Reigate and Banstead Conservative Association in Lower Kingswood. The meeting on October 31 was part of Mr Blunt's campaign to win the party's candidacy for the 2015 election.
