TWO men from Epsom have admitted the robbery of a taxi driver and possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear.
The incident occurred at around 11.20pm on Friday February 22 this year when the taxi driver was taking passengers from Worcester Park to Epsom. He was threatened at gunpoint and forced to hand over his wallet and mobile phone.
On Friday Danny Young, 25 and Lenny Young, 18, both from Epsom, pleaded guilty to the offences at Guildford Crown Court. Danny Young has been remanded in custody and Lenny Young released on conditional bail. They are both due to be sentenced on January 17 at the same court.
