POLICE are still searching for teenager Lucy Browne, who has now been missing for more than a week. Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for the 15-year-old's welfare after she was reported missing last Tuesday (May 6). Lucy, from Puttenham, was reported missing around 9.15pm and was last seen around 10am earlier that day. She is described as white, 5ft 3ins tall, slim build, with long black hair which she usually wears in a bun or on the top of her head. She was wearing black leggings and a grey sweatshirt and had used fake tan around the time she was last seen. She is also believed to have been in the Romford or Ilford area since she went missing. She is also believed to have visited Waterlooville, Havant, Leigh Park and Paulsgrove in Hampshire. Detective Inspector Peter Harvey, who is coordinating the search for Lucy, said: "As each day passes, we are becoming more and more concerned for Lucy's welfare. She is a young girl and this makes her extremely vulnerable. We believe that she has met up with other girls who were also reported missing during the last week. These girls, one of whom is from Surrey and two of whom are from Hampshire have all now returned home but Lucy has not. "We believe Lucy is using the train as she has visited a number of areas over a wide geographical area since she has been missing. "I am appealing to anyone who knows where she is, or who has seen or heard from her, to come forward with that information as a matter of urgency. We are extremely keen to ensure that she is safe and well. Any sightings should be reported to Surrey Police on 101 quoting reference number P14131571. Alternatively call independent charity Missing People on 116 000.
