THE Best of British was celebrated at St Michael's Church's annual Flower Festival in Betchworth over the bank holiday weekend.
The event ran from Saturday to Monday and also included a performance from the International Male Voice Choir on Saturday night.
Festival chair Linda Slater said: "The classic bank holiday weather did not deter many hundreds of people venturing out to enjoy the wonderful festival of music and flowers in St Michael's church.
"Some 23 arrangements were displayed in the church designed around the theme of the Best of British, and were as varied as Cowes Week, Wimbledon and the allotment to British puddings.
"While visitors enjoyed the flowers they were also treated to a wide range of music which included harpists, handbells and a brass band. One of the reasons for postponing the festival from last year was in order to showcase the new Tickell organ and there was no shortage of willing organists keen to try it.
"The proceeds will go to help maintain the fabric of this historical building."
