A TELEVISION chef and a Michelin-trained cook are the high-profile names booked for Oxted's first-ever food and drink festival.
The event on June 21 follows the huge success of the town's beer festival.
From 11am to 5pm in the town's Master Park, there will be dozens of stalls offering an array of food.
Other attractions will include live music, cooking demonstrations and children's activities.
Co-organiser Nelly Kloet from Merstham, who was involved with marketing for Nestlé, said: "A wide range of food vendors have been booked, offering everything from hot dogs and smoked salmon to milkshakes and Thai cuisine served from a tuk tuk."
Cooking demonstrations will be given by BBC Ready Steady Cook chef and Reigate restaurateur Tony Tobin and also Michelin-trained Maxwell Mckenzie, who has previously run pop-up restaurants in Reigate and Oxted.
For children there will be free cooking lessons, a play tent and colouring competitions.
If the event is a success, a Christmas fair may be staged with lots of seasonal attractions.
