COMMUTERS are being warned of delays on services from London after reports of a suspected bomb near Victoria station.
Officers from Metropolitan police attended the scene earlier today after reports that a suspicious item was found in Peabody Avenue between Victoria and Battersea Stations.
Victoria was closed for about 15 minutes while the incident was dealt with.
Following the incident the Met Police tweeted "Incident is #SW1 near #VictoriaStation now stood down. Item found by builders was non-suspicious."
Victoria station has been reopened but delays of up to an hour are expected.
