THE MOTHER of missing Guildford teenager Georgina Stewart has made an appeal to her daughter.
The 16-year-old was last seen in the early hours of yesterday (June 22) and she was reported missing from her Pewley home by her mother later the same morning.
Caroline Stewart said this afternoon: "Come home, we love you Georgina. Please let us know that you are safe and well."
Police believe she may have travelled to the Hackney or Holloway areas of London.
She is described as white, around 5ft 7ins tall, of slim build with long wavy light brown hair.
The photo above was taken on Saturday and shows Georgina wearing a black dress/long top which she may have worn when she left home.
Detective Inspector Martin Stables of Surrey Police's missing persons unit said: "We are carrying out a number of enquiries to locate Georgina via CCTV, speaking with family and friends and monitoring social media, but as time goes on our concern about her welfare grows.
"It is completely out of character for Georgina not to be in contact with family or friends. I urge people to contact Surrey Police if they have any knowledge as to her whereabouts and indeed I appeal to Georgina herself to please get in contact to confirm you are safe – you can do this by contacting police, family or a friend. You can also contact 'Missing People' free on 116 000 which is a confidential helpline."
