A 67-year-old man faces a trial after denying a charge of wounding with intent over a stabbing in Tatsfield in January.
Raymond Phillips, of Kemsley Road, Tatsfield was at Guildford Crown Court on Monday where he plead not guilty to the charge, which is said to have taken place in Kemsley Road on January 8.
A man in his 40s was taken to hospital with abdominal injuries which were not life-threatening
Mr Phillips is on bail and a trial is due to start on January 26 2015.
