Six wickets from Steven Hirst and 56 from Fraser Macdonald helped the Llamas second team to an important win over Weybridge on Saturday. The result leaves the Llamas 13 points clear of Wimbledon who are their opponents on Saturday.
The 3rd XI were washed out without a ball being bowled, however Wimbledon were able to pick up 13 points after thrashing Dulwich by nine wickets. Saturday's match is now a must win for James Brickley's team with Wimbledon, the opponents, being 18 points clear.
The Surrey Cricket League 4th XI had another tough day at the office, losing by 4 wickets to Economicals 1st XI, despite 42 from Ed de Mott and 40 from Ryan Arde. Manoj Rajarethinam picked up a tidy 3 for 32, but the 151 total set by SinjunGrammarians 4th XI was too much for the Surrey Championship 4th XI. The VI-Kings match against Abinger was abandoned due to the rain, with the VI-Kings declaring on 102 for 9 with no further play.
Sunday saw the Cavaliers comprehensively beat Old Woking 2nd XI. Young Sam Hart's 73 being the difference between the two teams.
