OXTED will become a Christmas wonderland next Thursday.
The town centre will be cordoned off for the town's annual evening of festivities and the arrival of Santa.
The feast of fun includes choirs, dancers, musical entertainment, Punch and Judy, as well as discounts and free refreshments in many of the 100-plus stores.
Other goodies will include a hog roast, Thai food, raffles, and a chocolate tombola.
Fairground rides and festive stalls will adorn Station Road West, with Santa's grotto in JJ's store. Over in Station Road East a "flash mob" of dancers is anticipated at about 6.30pm.
And children can enter a shop window competition, hunting for clues over the next week to win prizes.
SMS Photography will have a lucky dip for family studio sittings, with proceeds going to St Catherine's Hospice.
Elements will host a Glee choir, raising funds for the Matthew's Friends charity.
Paydens Bookshop's competitions will raise funds for Barnardos.
And Push the Boat Out is collecting tinned and dry food for the needy in Sussex.
Events start at 4.30pm and should be wrapped up by 8pm.
