OVER-30s looking to get onto the job ladder, or change their career, will get information and advice at a careers event today.
Following the success of a similar event in January, organiser Tuke Sonaike has decided to host another recruitment fair at Redhill's Harlequin Theatre today, Friday, July 4.
Firms including McDonald's and Santander will join East Surrey College and Surrey County Council at the event, to offer advice for anyone looking to overcome redundancy or refresh their career.
Ms Sonaike believes that while the current focus on youth apprenticeships is vital, there must be equal opportunities for older people looking for new work.
Her inaugural event attracted more than 300 people and the Merstham resident says demand was high for more similar events.
She said: "It was a huge success first time round and people kept saying we need more things like this.
"To be honest, I can't really sit still so I got to work on putting on another event."
The free event will take place at The Harlequin, in the Warwick Quadrant, from 10am to 2pm, with talks from business experts between 11am and noon.
Visitors are advised to dress smartly and bring CVs.
