THREE colourful characters have done their bit for worthy causes.
Dressed in eye-catching garb they cycled from Caterham to Rye in East Sussex on June 21 – and back again the following day.
The 130-mile round trip took them a total of 21 hours.
They hope to have raised more than £500, which will be split between Caterham's Arc arts centre and Shine, a charity for those with spina bifida and hydrocephalus.
The tireless threesome were Alex Corps, 23, a learning disability support worker of Foxon Lane, Caterham; Anthony Lavey, 19, an engineer also of Foxon Lane; and Steven Longley, 23, a teaching assistant from Peckham.
Alex, who formerly worked at the Arc, said: "We got a few funny looks and plenty of horns beeping us in support."
