WOODMANSTERNE produced a fine chase to beat second-placed Chaldon in a rain-affected clash.
The match began horribly for Woods, as Chaldon raced to 73-0, helped by a few dropped catches.
Arron Wells brought Woods back into the game with two wickets in two balls.
While the Woodmansterne bowlers shared wickets, Muhammad Mohsin Iqbal, batted his way to an unbeaten century as Chaldon posted 200 before declaring after 43.5 overs.
Wells led the response with 32 before being caught behind to leave Woods struggling at 62-3.
However, Ian Miller anchored the innings, making a patient 63, while first Robert Hicks, then Ryan Polley and finally Alex Squires hit out around him.
Some controlled bowling left Woods needing 27 from the last three overs, but Squires (17no) took matters into his own hands as Woods won with an over to spare.
