FIREFIGHTERS are currently battling a blaze at the Old Reigatian Rugby Club.
Crews were called to the scene on Geoffrey Knight Fields in Park Lane, Reigate at about 4.40 this morning (Saturday).
The fire is the second in two weeks at the club after a blaze there on June 28 caused significant damage.
It is also the fourth fire at a sports clubs in the borough in the last three weeks, with the first occurring at the Horley Lawn Tennis Club on June 22 and another at the Churchfields Bowls Club on June 26.
This morning Reigate firefighters said 25 per cent of the roof at the club was alight when they were called to the fire.
Seven pumps, five hose reels and three jets all attended to battle the blaze and remained on the scene this morning.
