SKIPPER Neil Saker hailed Robbie Williams' seven wicket haul as "outstanding" as Reigate Priory cruised to a six wicket win over Sunbury.

Williams took 7-35 as the Llamas demolished Sunbury, putting them into bat before skittling them out for just 90 runs in a game that was done and dusted shortly after 3pm.

"We were probably all done by 3.30pm," Saker admitted. "When they turned up they looked disorganised and not like the hard-to-beat Sunbury we are used to seeing, so we fancied our chances.

"I thought we were excellent and Robbie was outstanding. I know he has been disappointed with his form so far this season but to take seven wickets in any match, let alone an important game against a team like Sunbury, is fantastic."

Despite only chasing 90, the Llamas made hard work of it, losing four wickets on the way.

"Somehow the lower totals are sometimes the harder ones to get. Maybe it's a mental thing," Saker pondered.

"Andy Delmont went for two, and Chris Murtagh went for four and we were about 20-2 before Richie Oliver was caught behind and then Henry Tye didn't get many runs either.

"Luckily Michael Burgess batted really well and Ali Raja played solidly as well."

After playing Lashings on Friday, Reigate Priory host Sutton on Saturday, knowing a win would virtually make it a two-horse race for the Premier Division title.

"Sutton are a good side but we have played them twice already this season, once in the league and once in the cup, and beaten them twice," Saker said.

"I don't really think it matters who we are playing at the moment; as long as we play to our potential then it's a game we can win.

"We need to be streetwise but if we play well then I'm confident we will get a good result. Ideally a win."
