POLICE are appealing for help to trace a teenager from Horley who was last seen two weeks ago.
Sanita Muceniece was last seen in person at 8pm on Thursday July 10 but was spotted the following day on CCTV footage at Horley rail station catching a train at 5.10am.
She was seen again on CCTV leaving Purley rail station at 5.28am and in the town centre before disappearing from view.
The 16-year-old, who is Latvian, is described as white, 5ft 4inchs tall, of slim build, with blue eyes, long blonde hair and speaks with a European accent.
Investigating officer DS Tristan Hardiman said: "We urgently need the public's help in tracing Sanita and would ask for anyone with any information to come forward so we know that she is safe and well.
"We know from the CCTV footage that she left Horley and went to Purley between 5.10am and 5.28am on Friday July 11. If there is anybody who may have seen her during that period, or afterwards as she went through Purley town centre then we would ask you to get in touch.
"It may be that she went to visit somebody in Purley, if you are that person, please ask her to get in touch, or let us know where she is."
