NOT to be outdone by A levels and GCSE grades, the Reigate School of Ballet has its own record-breaking exam results.
A total of 285 children passed their Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ITSD) exams this year.
Of those, a record-breaking 20 pupils achieved "excellent" results in Intermediate and Advanced 1 exams.
Gareth Jones, of the Redhill-based school, said: "We always have passes in these exams every year, but this is the first time we have had so many passes, many with distinction, as the standard of these exams is so high. The results give our students the necessary grades to begin training to be dance teachers."
He gave a special mention to Lucca Ewbank who passed her Inter Ballet, Inter Modern and Advanced 1 Tap with distinction in both ballet and tap.
