TRAFFIC is very slow on the northbound carriageway of the M23 from Junction 9 (Gatwick) to Junction 8 (M25) due to flooding. The road was previously closed but that has now reopened.
The A23 (London Road) near Gatwick is also flooded.
There is also flooding on the A22 at South Godstone, leading to very heavy queuing.
Elsewhere Lowfield Heath Road in Charlwood is flooded too, with drivers advised to find alternative routes.
Meanwhile the A24 at Mid Holmwood is reopened this morning after the northern carriageway was blocked last night thanks to a fallen tree, which has now been removed.
