REPAIRS to the central reservation closing one lane in each direction of the M25 between junction 6 for Godstone and junction 5 for M26 are causing long delays.
There is severe disruption on the motorway while roadworks take place to fix the nine metre gap in the concrete barrier left when a lorry jack-knifed there on Monday morning.
Queues of traffic are building along the M26 because of the congestion.
On the trains, a signal failure at Guildford has caused delays of up to 60 minutes on South West Trains routes between Portsmouth and London Waterloo.
Disruption is expected until 9am.
First Great Wester tickets are being accepted by Southern Rail and South West Trains between Guildford and Gatwick. There are replacement buses between Guildford and Redhill.
