CHIPSTEAD boss Steve Baker admitted he was "fed up" of playing Three Bridges after losing to the Crawley side once again on Saturday.
Since taking over as manager at High Road in November 2013, Baker has failed to take a single point of Paul Faili's men but admits Bridges deserved their 4-2 win at the weekend.
"We were rubbish," Baker said. "I said to their manager after the game that I was fed up with playing them, but luckily they didn't rub it in our faces too much.
"We are in a similar position in the league, there is no reason why we should lose to them every time but we do. All this Indian sign stuff is nonsense, but we do keep losing to them.
"But they deserved the points. It doesn't matter how you set up or what plans you make if you put in a performance like that and make the amount of mistakes we did.
"We gifted them goals and then pulled a goal back through a penalty that I have to admit was not a penalty."
Luckily, Baker has a better record against his former club Walton & Hersham, who the Chips host on Saturday.
"It will be a similar test on Saturday because we aren't that much above them in the table," he said. "If Tuesday night's game [against Worthing] had gone ahead we would have had a few missing, but hopefully we will have those back for Saturday.
"After Saturday we would have liked to get out there again and play Tuesday night but there was an area of the pitch that was frozen. We all know Saturday wasn't good enough."
