LAST week's deposition of Leatherhead as leaders meant Horley faced the team at the top of the division two weeks running, as they took on a Sanderstead side riding high.
Only Horley keeper Peter Bradby kept his side in it in a first half dominated by the hosts, but they grabbed two goals within five minutes shortly before the break.
The second half was much the same with extensive pressure on the Horley defence and more attempts on goal thwarted by man of the match Bradby, until two more goals secured the win.
Horley did stage a late comeback, though, Josh Cooper and Sam Bracken netting to make it 4-2.
