CATERHAM School hockey team are the Surrey U18 champions.
Playing all the matches in one day in a show of considerable stamina, Caterham overcame six other teams to take the title.
In the early stages the team overcame Lingfield Notre Dame, KCS Wimbledon, Alleyns School and St George's.
They then played local rivals Trinity in the semi-final and secured a 2-0 victory.
The final against RGS Guildford was played at 5.30pm, some eight hours after their first match on the mammoth day of hockey.
This was their most challenging match as the team were 1-0 down before coming back to win 2-1.
Andrew Patterson, head of hockey at the school, said: "I am delighted for the whole squad.
"I think that this was a great achievement because they were clearly tiring by the time they reached the final.
"I was really impressed by the boys because not only did they demonstrate considerable skill, they also showed great character to come back from 1-0 against a very good team."
