A HEADTEACHER of a nursery school in Godalming has received an award in the Queen's New Year's Honours list 2013.
Mandy Heslop, headteacher of The Wharf Nursery School and Children's Centre in Woolsack Way become a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE).
Mrs Heslop receives the gong in recognition for her services to education.
Meanwhile, Kathleen Mary Masters also receives MBE status for services to Conquest Art in Godalming.
