THE winner of the Advertiser's Picture of the Year competition features skateboarders walking through Denbies Vineyard.
Tom Wood, from The Boardroom skate shop in Dorking, took the photograph on the longest day of the year, June 21.
It won a public vote launched in last week's Advertiser.
Mr Wood said: "The photo was taken on a summer's day. We were on our way to a day of boarding at Denbies and Box Hill.
"I dropped back and snapped a few shots of the guys and this photo was the result.
"I didn't think it would have got this much of a reaction, but had lots of positive feedback to it.
"I'm very pleased to have won photo of 2012, thanks for everyone's votes."
Gem Redford's picture of Leith Hill came second, while Robert Carr came third for a shot of the Olympic cycling in July.
