A FERRARI worth £232,850 has been stolen from a dealership in Egham.
The limited edition Ferrari 458 Italia was taken from the Maranello garage on the A30 Egham by-pass last Wednesday night (January 9).
The sportscar was parked at the rear of the premises when thieves struck. At around 8.05pm, a white transit van is seen on CCTV to pull up and two men get out.
They then used an angle grinder or similar equipment to cut through security poles.
Around 40 minutes later, a flatbed type vehicle drove into the garage, loaded the Ferrari onto the back and covered it with a sheet before driving off.
The vehicle is the only one of it's type in the UK and is described as black with the Italian flag racing strip running the length of the car down the centre and the Italian flag sewn into the seats.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the local area on Wednesday night or has any information on the whereabouts of the Ferrari to come forward.
Detective Constable Chris Ewan, from Staines CID, said: "This was clearly a planned and well organised theft. I am appealing for anyone who was in the area on Wednesday night and may have seen either the van or the flatbed vehicle to come forward.
"The stolen Ferrari is a distinctive car so I am keen to hear from anyone who may have seen it, perhaps on the back of another vehicle, either in the local area or elsewhere."
