LEATHERHEAD boss Richard Brady says it is very frustrating that his side cannot get a game at the moment.
The Tanners' Surrey Senior Cup clash at Lingfield tonight (Tuesday) was called off earlier today, following on from the postponement of the Tanners' league fixture at Ramsgate on Saturday.
And Brady said that while that was frustrating for him, his players and the club's supporters, he said there was nothing they could do about it.
"It is totally frustrating," he said.
"But to be honest there was more chance of going to the moon than that game being on tonight.
"What can we do though? We just have to prepare for each game with the belief it could be on."
The Tanners are due to face Dulwich Hamlet in the Ryman League Division One South at Fetcham Grove on Saturday, although that too could be in doubt if the recent weather conditions continue.
And that means the Tanners, like other teams in their division, face a fixture pile-up in the coming weeks and months, with Leatherhead likely to be playing on Saturdays and Tuesdays for much of the rest of the season.
Bur Brady says that will suit his side, adding that they just want to be playing football.
